Our Story at the 42-Foot Hot Dog Stand

The 42-foot hot dog stand you see today started its life in Denver. Built in 1966, the building once stood along West Colfax Avenue, a familiar stop for travelers before it began its journey west. From there it moved to Aspen Park, and in 2006 it found its permanent home in Bailey, Colorado, right on Highway 285.

Current owners Jay and Annie Aigner restored the stand board by board and now run it as Southpark Coney Island, keeping the same roadside spirit that made it a landmark decades ago.
